Protected Species Surveys in Argyll & Bute, Highland and throughout Scotland
TransTech provides a comprehensive range of survey work which is often required to progress a planning application to gain NatureScot or Local Authority consent.
Much of this is carried out in-house but where additional input is required we have a network of specialist contractors and consultants with whom we work.
We have experience in bat, otter, badger, pearl mussel, great crested newt, pine marten, red squirrel, salmonid, breeding bird and butterfly survey work.
We can also act as an Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) to provide input throughout the construction phases of projects advising on how to avoid or minimise on-site ecological impacts through, for example, the design and supervision of ecological mitigation and compensation measures.
